Jobs as veterinary technicians are available in large, mixed and small animal veterinary practices. Job opportunities are also available in the fields of research, primate centers, zoos, regulatory medicine, veterinary product sales and similar areas.

Course Maps

Prerequisites include Intermediate Algebra (MATH 098), Survey of Biology (BIOL& 100), Preparatory Chemistry (CHEM& 100), English Composition I (ENGL& 101), and Medical Terminology I (BTECH 150).

The Veterinary Technology program is a full-time course that requires 21 months to complete. Classes start in September and run through June.
